DI 11055: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Disability Cases
TN 64 (09-09)
A. Systems-generated notices
The Disability Determination Services (DDS) provides a personalized disability notice (PDN) to the claimant in the event of a medical denial or when the DDS establishes the onset of disability later than the date of the Title XVI application.
When the DDS makes a fully favorable determination, the field office (FO) processing the claim sends out the initial award notice automatically through the Modernized Supplemental Security Income Claims System (MSSICS) for most cases.
