This chart provides information on documents (in addition to passports) which are issued as evidence of citizenship and the authorities that make citizenship determinations in the countries listed. Unless otherwise noted, the same authority makes the citizenship determination and issues the documents. Where there is no entry in the document column, passports are the only documents issued as proof of citizenship. (See GN 00303.300.E for information on passports.)
