In eView, if the user selects Claims Status, EDCS Claims Status screen will appear. It enables a user to a search for lists of cases using the following Search Variables:
“Pending in” specific offices;
“Transferred from FO” for specific offices;
“Transferred To”.
Access to the database is based on the user’s security profile. For example, a Disability Determination Services (DDS) user may view a pending list for his or her own DDS or for a Field Office (FO) but cannot view a pending list for another DDS.
The Search Results provide Claim Status Lists which may be viewed or printed. However, the EDCS Claims Status Screen cannot link to the details of a specific case.
