A. When to use the QERN screen

Use the QERN screen to review the alleged and gross earnings posted to the disability control file (DCF). (See DI 55030.015C.)

B. How to get to the QERN screen

To get to the QERN screen:

• select 32, “Continuing Disability Review File,” from SSA's main menu (MAIN) screen;

• select 12, “Query Earnings,” from the CDR selection menu (MCDR) screen and enter the beneficiary/recipient's SSN and the earrings beginning date; and

• select the correct entitlement by placing an "X” in the appropriate "SEL" field of the entitlement selection (ESEL) screen.
