A. Policy for rollback conversion cases

Evaluate solely under the Federal definition of disability and blindness those individuals who were eligible for State Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled or Aged or Blind in 12/1973, but who did not receive aid for at least 1 month prior to 07/1973, i.e., rollback cases.

B. Procedure for rollback conversion cases

Prepare the Form SSA-832 (Cessation or Continuance of Disability or Blindness Determination and Transmittal – Title XVI) as in any other Title XVI medical CDR determination (i.e., cases in which State plan criteria are not applicable).
