POLICY
1. Wages
If the NH has been previously notified by SSA of his/her wages for the period involved, inform the NH of any subsequent revisions in his/her E/R for periods included in the prior notification.
Where SSA has made an initial determination, SSA must always send a notice of initial determination and include the appeals paragraph.
2. SEI
Whenever SEI is revised downward, SSA must notify the self-employed individual of the revision.
3. Survivor Notice
SSA must notify a survivor of revisions downward only if the NH or his/her survivor had been previously notified by SSA of the amount of wages or SEI appearing on SSA records for the period involved.
