RS 01405: Wage Correction/IRS Coordination

A. Policy

When wages are reported as SEI, or vice versa, two distinct adjustments are involved in correcting the E/R - one to add or delete the SEI and the other to add or delete the wages.

B. Procedure

Process an adjustment via item correction to change the wages; or to change the SEI (see RS 01804.150 and RS 01804.165 and MSOMEM 022.001 through MSOM EM 022.005; and MSOM EM 023.001through MSOMEM 023.005).
