GN 00302: Proof of Age

Effective Dates: 06/28/1996 - Present

Policy

When there is evidence in file which reflects a different DB from that alleged by the claimant follow GN 00302.160 to determine whether the discrepancy is material.

If the discrepancy is not material, establish the DB based on the evidence which, in the judgment of the adjudicator, has the highest probative value. See GN 00302.165 for evaluation guides.

No written determination is needed.
