A. Procedure — Payments Made on Other Than Monthly Basis

Determine the equivalent monthly rate depending on the basis of the payments (i.e., weekly, quarterly, etc.) using the procedures in VB 00205.115B.

B. Procedure — Payments in Foreign Currency

Convert other benefit income into U.S. dollars per VB 00205.125C. Document the file with a Form SSA-5002, Report of Contact, or other form showing the exchange rate used and the source of the information. Once converted, the exchange rate will remain the exchange rate of record and will be revised only when another adjustment in other benefit amount occurs (e.g., cost-of-living increase).
