When the benefits of those entitled on an SSN have been adjusted for the maximum:
One or more persons may later become entitled to benefits on that SSN; or
One or more persons may later have their benefits terminated.
2. Reapportionment
The family maximum must be reapportioned among those who remain entitled to benefits after the family composition changes.
B. PROCEDURE
1. Unreduced Benefits
Reapportionment is accomplished by adjusting the benefit amounts for the new family composition per RS 00615.756.
2. Reduced Benefits - Months Before 1/78

CMAR x NUR = NMAR
CUR
NOTE:
CMAR is the amount of reduction before the change
CUR is the current rate before the change
NUR is the new rate before the reduction
NMAR is the amount of reduction after the change.
