ERISA requests are forwarded to the Division of Business Services (DBS) from the Center for Program Support (CPS). DBS examines each request to determine their acceptability for SSA's compliance with the request. DBS will base their determination on the completeness of identifying information furnished by the requester, i.e., plan participant's name, SSN, signature, proper third party authorization, etc.- ERISA requests are forwarded to the Division of Earnings and Business Services (DEBS) from the Division of Training and Program Support (DTPS). DEBS examines each request to determine their acceptability for SSA's compliance with the request. DEBS will base their determination on the completeness of identifying information furnished by the requester, i.e., plan participant's name, SSN, signature, proper third party authorization, etc.
