The SSA-L8151-U2 tells the recipient about a prospective increase in SSI payments. It includes appeal rights.

The system generates an SSA-L8151 for most events that result in a prospective increase in SSI payments for one or more months.
C. Definition
For a manual SSA-L8151-U2, a prospective month is a month after the mailing date month.
