PROCEDURE

This table describes the action necessary for FO development of beneficiary inquiries concerning the nonreceipt, replacement, or correction of cards issued by RRB.

Step Action
1 Telephone the local RRB office so that an RRB card can be issued.

Provide RRB with all pertinent data as follows:

  • If the inquiry involves loss or nonreceipt of card, provide beneficiary name, RRB claim number, and address (indicate if this is a recent change).

  • If the inquiry involves correction of information on card, provide beneficiary name, RRB claim number, and information to be corrected.

3 Inform the beneficiary that the new card will be mailed by RRB.
  Do not maintain a control on this contact. No response will be received from RRB.

Tell the beneficiary to direct any further inquiries about his HI card to:
