GN 01726: DIO and FSP Processing Under the Agreement with the Netherlands
BASIC (08-94)
A. Introduction
The agreement designates two Dutch organizations as the liaison agencies for the agreement. The Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) (in English, the Social Insurance Bank) is the agency responsible for retirement and survivor claims. The Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemers Verzekeringen (UWV) is responsible for disability claims. Both of these organizations are headquartered in Amsterdam but have numerous field offices throughout the Netherlands.
