DI 45001: ODO Processing of Initial End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Medicare Cases

Effective Dates: 09/12/2012 - Present

If the FO indicates the R-SMI premiums will be covered under a state buy-in agreement, process in accordance with DI 45001.060A.3. If the FO does not mention state buy-in and SSI is involved, develop state buy-in coverage postadjudicatively using reference HI 00815.030.
