  • DI 42010.030 Effectuating Favorable ALJ Decisions - Freeze Case
  • If the claimant is alive and has not filed for retirement benefits, prepare a dictated letter to the applicant patterned after Model Letter L in NL 00705.015. In this letter substitute paragraph C14 in lieu of the reconsideration paragraph. (Paragraph C13 will be used in AC decisions.) Provide copies of the letter for the file, ALJ, ODAR, and the servicing DO.
  • If the claimant is alive and has not filed for retirement benefits, prepare a dictated letter to the applicant patterned after Model Letter L in NL 00705.015. In this letter substitute paragraph C14 in lieu of the reconsideration paragraph. (Paragraph C13 will be used in AC decisions.) Provide copies of the letter for the file, ALJ, OHO, and the servicing DO.
  • If the claimant is deceased or has filed for retirement benefits, prepare a draft of the notice for the Program Service Center.
