DDSs or the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) may pay a consulting medical source subpoenaed to appear before a disability hearings officer or an administrative law judge (ALJ). The DDS allowable reimbursable amount payable to the medical source is in accordance with the State agency fee schedule and/or travel reimbursement policies.
- DDSs or the Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) may pay a consulting medical source subpoenaed to appear before a disability hearings officer or an administrative law judge (ALJ). The DDS allowable reimbursable amount payable to the medical source is in accordance with the State agency fee schedule and/or travel reimbursement policies.
- NOTE: The policy in this subchapter covers only instances where subpoenas have been issued. Subpoenas are the last resort when attempting to obtain testimony and interrogatories have been ignored.
