  • A. Introduction
  • This section provides procedures on informing recipients of their reporting responsibilities.
  • B. Policy
  • Recipients are required to report changes in their circumstances that may affect their eligibility for and the amount of their SSI payments.
  • SSA personnel discuss reporting responsibilities during personal contact interviews. Written instructions are provided for RZs mailed by the FO.
  • SSA provides written instructions on several paper forms and MSSICS applications and RZ printouts.
  • C. Procedure
  • 1. Face-To-Face Interviews
  • Review recipient reporting responsibilities and provide the recipient with a tear-off sheet and a recordkeeper at the end of a face-to-face interview, as follows:
